Are dogs allowed at the Canhusen holiday apartment?
Yes, dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Please mention your dog in the „Nachricht an den Vermieter“ (message to the host) field when booking – we will then prepare the apartment accordingly for your four-legged friend.
How many guests can the apartment accommodate?
The apartment is 63 m² and sleeps up to 5 guests. It offers a double bed, a single bed upstairs, a sofa bed and a cot.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes. Bed linen and towels are included in the price – there is no need to bring anything.
Is the apartment air-conditioned?
Yes, the living room is air-conditioned. In addition, heating keeps the apartment comfortable in the cooler months.
Is there a washing machine and dryer?
Yes, a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the bathroom.
Gibt es WLAN?
Yes, Wi-Fi and a LAN connection are available. You will also find three smart TVs with streaming services and cable TV in the apartment.
Is the apartment suitable for families with children?
Yes, absolutely. A cot and high chair are provided. The attic room upstairs is reached via a spiral staircase and is especially popular with children.
Is smoking allowed in the apartment?
No, the apartment is non-smoking. You are of course welcome to smoke on the terrace.

How far is it from Canhusen to the North Sea?
It is around 30 kilometres to Norddeich on the North Sea coast, about 30 minutes by car.
How far is it to Greetsiel and Emden?
Greetsiel is about a 25-minute drive, Emden about 15 minutes by car.
Is Canhusen really quiet?
Yes. The apartment is located away from the tourist centres with unobstructed views of the countryside. In the evening you are more likely to see deer, cows and horses than crowds.
How sustainable is the apartment?
With a 15 kW photovoltaic system and our own wind turbine, we generate over 90% of our energy needs ourselves. There is a dedicated charging point for electric cars.
